About Us

We are a pansexual social networking group for people aged 18 - 35. Promoting a safe space for sharing ideas and knowledge, our focus is on welcoming newcomers, educating our members and providing the "first step" into entering the kink and fetish community. We are currently holding a munch in midtown Toronto on a bimonthly basis to give everyone a chance for some face-to-face interaction. Depending on demand, we hope to expand our meetings to include workshops, demos and information sessions in an effort to educate the members of our group and promote Risk Aware Consensual Kink. If you are an educator who would be interested in presenting to our group, please send us an email!

Though there are a number of other munches and gatherings in Toronto, we are the only one designed for our age group. Many of the current munches can be quite intimidating due to their size and the perception that they are for older, more experienced people. We are here for people under 35 with the hopes of creating a much less intimidating experience for newcomers. Because many of our members are just starting out in the discovery of their sexual identity, orientation and/or lifestyle, we wish to develop an environment that will encourage the development of these discoveries with like-minded people. Plus, it's always fun to meet people with similar interests, and to share our knowledge and ideas to help each other learn.

About The Munch

A munch is a casual gathering in a restaurant or bar where people can meet and interact in a no-pressure environment.

Dates
Munches are held on the second Monday of January, March, May, July, September, and November and generally start around 7:00pm.

Rules
The main philosophy governing our rules is "be discreet, respectful, and use common sense."
  • Use common sense. If in doubt, don't do it -- it's probably not appropriate.
  • No public display of toys.
  • No play. This is not a fetish event, have your clothing and behaviour reflect this.
  • Respect the venue, event, and people attending.
  • Keep in mind that not everyone attending is outed. Please be discreet in outside conversation.
Don't worry about memorizing these rules; just use common sense and you'll be fine :)

New?
Should a person attending the munch for the first time wish to be escorted by an organizer to be introduced to other members, we would be more than happy to do so! Many newcomers are nervous or shy, and may prefer to remain anonymous -- this will be respected, but we will make every effort possible to introduce ourselves to new faces whenever we see one. If you'd like to know at least one person before attending the first time, please contact us! In an effort to provide a safe, public place for people to meet, we have blank name labels available for those who wish to wear one to identify themselves to others whom they have not met before. At all events, the organizers will wear identifying name tags in an effort to be a visible and accessible presence.

Location

We Have recently changed our venue to Kramer's Bar and Grill, 1915 Yonge St. (Just North of Davisville, on the East side). We have reserved the upstairs room for the munch. It is a non-smoking, affordable establishment which is easily accessible by subway. Click here for directions to the munch.
